Biography

Prof. Zohar Mor is a senior doctor in Public Health. He completed his MD from Ben Gurion University and his MPH and MHA from Tel Aviv University. He was the National TB manager in Israel and the head of the division of Epidemiology at the Israeli Ministry of Health. He is also the head of the Program in Public Health in the Ashkelon Academic College. He was the President of the European Region of the Union. His main fields of interest include the prevention of infectious diseases in special populations, including LGBT, prisoners, people in prostitution, and migrants.

HIV incidence among people with TB in Israel: A 42-years follow up study

Tuberculosis incidence among PLHIV was highest among males and migrants from endemic countries, followed by IVDU. Tuberculosis incidence declined after ART was introduced and was further reduced when ART was improved.
