Key Impacts

Reaching the unreached: Leveraging community volunteers and colour cards to enhance finding people with TB and adherence in Ethiopia's pastoralist areas

This community-led approach successfully identified missed TB cases, reduced costs, and improved treatment outcomes. Strengthening community engagement in TB programs, especially in pastoralist settings, is crucial for achieving End TB goals. Scaling up similar interventions can accelerate progress toward TB elimination in Ethiopia and beyond.
