Biography

I received my PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Tehran in 2017. Since August 2021, I worked at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden on plasma protein biomarkers for active TB diagnosis. After a 6-month visit at UCSF, I recently joined Emory University as a postdoctoral researcher, working with Dr. Jeffrey Collins and Dr. Matthew Magee on TB biomarker discovery using metabolite and cytokine data and investigating links between TB and other diseases. With a strong background in computer science, systems biology, and multi-omics analysis, I am deeply passionate about advancing precision medicine in infectious diseases, specifically Tuberculosis, through machine learning.
