Biography

Dr. Pang is the director of department of Bacteriology and Immunology, Beijing Chest Hospital, Capital Medical University. Prof. Pang is now vice chair of Chinese Tuberculosis Society, deputy chair of Committee of Clinical Laboratory, Chinese Medical Association and secretary-general of Committee of Basic Research, Chinese Antituberculosis Association. Prof. Pang's research mainly delves into the molecular epidemiology of TB, immunology responses to TB infection, and identification of novel biomarkers for pulmonary TB, extrapulmonary TB and drug-resistant TB. Prof. Pang has published more than 100 peer reviewed journals, and is PI to more than 20 TB research projects.
