Regulation of TIM-3 expression in macrophages by IκBζ during Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection: Mechanisms and functional implications

IκBζ is a critical transcription factor that suppresses TIM-3 expression. Enhancing IκBζ through appropriate strategies, such as IL-36γ treatment, may inhibit TIM-3 expression, thereby mediating the enhancement of macrophage activation and effector functions.
