Biography

Dr. Hirsch-Moverman is Assistant Professor in Epidemiology at ICAP, Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She has vast experience in conducting epidemiologic and implementation science research, specifically in designing, conducting, and analyzing interventions to improve adherence and retention in TB/HIV programs. She is currently principal investigator of Radiant-Moms, a NIAID-funded study which examines preferences among stakeholders regarding novel shorter TB treatment regimens during the pregnancy and postpartum periods.

Multiple TB treatment attributes were confirmed as likely important to pregnant and breastfeeding women’s TB care preferences. There was some variability in stakeholders’ anticipation of the likely most important attributes by country, though all attributes were coherent in both settings.
