Biography

I am a 40-year-old medical laboratory scientist from coastal Kenya, specialized in medical microbiology. My journey began with volunteer work before joining Clinton Foundation and serving in Hola, a hardship area. I later earned a diploma from KEMU and a degree from Meru University. I have served as the Quality Officer and Head of Microbiology at Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital, leading AMR initiatives and guiding the lab to accreditation. I’ve presented TB diagnostics research internationally. I enjoy traveling, music, networking, and flowers. I live by Dieter F. Uchtdorf’s words: “It’s your reaction to adversity…”
