Biography

Dr Winceslaus Katagira is a Consultant Physician, Research Scientist, and Head of Research and Innovation at the Makerere University Lung Institute. He is an inspiring trainer in respiratory health and a Pan African Thoracic Society (PATS) Spirometry trainer. His research centres around Post-TB Lung disease, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Airways disease and Air Quality, including the LIGHT and FreshAir4Life Consortia. Dr Katagira empowers affected communities and individuals through research, education and practice for improved lung health.
