Biography
The author has long been engaged in tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control, with research focused covering TB prevention among key populations, latent TB infection management, and TB epidemiology. She has participated in drafting implementation plans for multiple projects, led the execution of several studies, contributed to the development of guidelines and expert consensus documents, and published ten academic papers.
Key Impacts
The correlation between isoniazid resistance-related gene mutations and resistance levels in M. tuberculosis in Shanghai
FabG1 and katG315 mutations were the primary INH-resistance mutation sites in Shanghai, which corresponded to low and high-level resistance, respectively. WGS can effectively distinguish the degree of drug resistance and provide a basis for clinical decision-making. It is recommended to promote molecular diagnosis to improve the prevention and control of drug-resistant TB.
