Biography

Dr Virginie Rozot is an immunologist with over a decade of experience in vaccine clinical trials, with a strong focus on tuberculosis across different age groups. Her work bridges clinical research and translational immunology, aiming to understand protective immune responses and disease mechanisms. She leads studies using post-mortem human tissues to investigate lymph nodes as central immune hubs and potential reservoirs for Mycobacterium tuberculosis. She has co-developed a short post-mortem interval platform and employs high-dimensional techniques, including mass cytometry or scRNAseq to profile local immune responses in tissue.
