Dr. V.G. Vinod Kumar is a medical doctor from India with a specialization in public health, currently working with the World Health Organization. He brings extensive experience in tuberculosis (TB) control, particularly in programmatic innovations under the National TB Elimination Programme. He has contributed to impactful field-level interventions and health system strengthening in diverse settings. His works reflects strong commitment to equity, quality service delivery, and integration of digital tools for real-time monitoring and response in public health initiatives. Earlier, he worked for Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), where he contributed to research and evidence generation for TB elimination
