Biography

Vidya Krishnan is an investigative journalist, and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University in 2021. She writes for Caravan magazine, The New York Times and The Atlantic. Her first book Phantom Plague – about drug resistant Tuberculosis- was released in February 2021 and has received critical acclaim. Vidya Krishnan has been reporting on health and science in India for nearly 20 years. She completed her master's at the School of Oriental and African Studies London University in 2011.
