Doctorate researcher at Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. Doctor of Medicine degree from the ​Philippines and worked on TB Clinical and Implementation Research for 2 years. Lived in the Philippines for 29 years and in Switzerland for 4 years.
Studied Biology for 4 years at the University of the Philippines, with no specific major but with exposure on general biology, botany, comparative plant and animal anatomy, ​general ecology, general microbiology, and general genetics.
