Biography

I have received my master’s degree in microbiology and have training in flow cytometry and Luminex platforms. I have headed a clinical research laboratory in a government medical college in affiliation with the Johns Hopkins University Clinical Research Unit in Pune, India, for the past 20 years. I have been pursuing PhD in Immunology for the past 4 years. My interest is in the immunology of HIV-TB co-infection in adolescents and adults.

Our study identified significant variations in cytokine levels across different TB groups and pregnancy stages, underscoring their potential as diagnostic markers for TB disease and infection in this high-risk population. However, further validation is needed in this context.
