Biography

Umme Tasnim Maliha has been working with the National TB Control Program (NTP) of Bangladesh since 2018. Currently serving as the TB Laboratory and Infection Control Expert, she oversees and monitors the national TB laboratory network. Her fields of activity include scaling up mWRD as a first-line diagnostic tool, strengthening EPTB and childhood TB diagnosis, introducing molecular and phenotypic DST for new drugs, and strengthening the Laboratory Quality Management System. She previously worked with icddr,b and USAID on various TB projects.
