Biography
I work at the Research Institute of Tuberculosis, where I’m involved in pre-entry TB screening and doing research on TB and smoking. I attended the UNION conference for the first time last year and had a great time. It was such a good experience that I decided to come all the way again this year.

Heated tobacco product use and tobacco abstinence: A prospective cohort study
Dual users were significantly less likely than exclusive cigarette users to quit all tobacco products. These findings suggest that HTP use, particularly in combination with cigarette use, may not facilitate successful tobacco cessation.
