Biography

Tiziana Masini is the portfolio prioritization coordinator at the Global Accelerator for Paediatric formulations (GAP-f), hosted by the WHO Science Division. Her work focuses on prioritizing the development and availability of the most needed formulations for children across diseases.  For the past nine years, she has worked with the WHO Global Tuberculosis Programme, with a focus on paediatric TB. She is also a member of the CHasing Expedited and Equitable Treatment Access (CHEETA) for Children taskforce. She holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and prior to her work in public health, she has worked in pharmaceutical R&D for anti-infectives.
