Biography

Professor Thu-Anh Nguyen is an infectious diseases and public health researcher who leads the University of Sydney Vietnam Institute as Executive Director and Head of Research. She has been an investigator for public health interventions, clinical trials on TB preventive therapy and treatments, application of mHealth technologies to improve TB treatment adherence, and health system interventions. Since 2013, she has led the population-wide screening trials (ACT3 and ACT5) in Vietnam.
