Biography

Tom Scriba is professor in immunology at the South African Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative (SATVI), University of Cape Town. He leads the Immunology Laboratory at SATVI and has research interests in the development of biomarkers, correlates of risk of TB and immune correlates of protection against TB, as well as development of novel TB vaccines.
