Key Impacts
Finding TB through the intensified Integrating Screen-For-All (SFA) approach in routine primary care services to improve TB detection in Myanmar Medical Association private-public mix clinics
The intensified symptom screening approach (SFA) enhanced TB detection in PPM clinics. Mutual engagement between clinic attendees and providers demonstrated SFA’s feasibility and acceptability within the PPM context. These findings support scaling up ICF strategies to strengthen TB control efforts in similar high-burden settings.

Exploring role of CXR CAD for paediatric TB detection: A retrospective evaluation of CXR CAD performance in children and adolescents in Myanmar
While CAD expands TB screening access, current tools remain limited in pediatric populations. Improvements in qXR 4.2 are promising, and findings support progressive CAD integration with clinical oversight. Continued refinement and validation in children are essential before broader use in TB programs.
