Real-world challenges of 4-month rifapentine-moxifloxacin TB regimen: High hyperbilirubinemia in Thailand

The high incidence of hyperbilirubinemia suggests that the fixed 1200 mg rifapentine dose may not be suitable for lower-weight populations. These findings highlight the need for weight-based rifapentine dosing and standardized ADR management protocols before broader implementation. Future large-scale real-world studies are needed to assess further the safety, efficacy, and optimal dosing strategies of the HPMZ regimen in diverse populations.
