Biography

Dr. Thamer Al Hilfi has been a Public Health and Health Profession Education Professor at Madenat Alelem University College, under Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education, since 2022. He has also been Acting Deputy Scientific Dean of the College and Chief Editor of the Health & Sustainable Health Journal.
In 2019. . He serves as Vice President of the Iraqi Country Coordinated Mechanism Committee, overseeing Global Fund programs targeting Malaria, AIDS, and Tuberculosis. He has also held prominent roles in the Global Fund, including as a member of its Audit and Finance Committee and as an alternate board representative for the EMR.
