Biography

Sylvie Sordello, PhD, holds the position of Infectious Diseases, Translational Biology group leader at Evotec. Prior to joining Evotec in 2017 she was CSO of VibioSphen, a biotech company focused on infectious disease, which she joined after heading an in vivo pharmacology team at Physiogenex. Sylvie also spent several years as an R&D project leader in the Infectious Disease Strategy Unit at Sanofi. Sylvie has almost 25 years’ drug discovery experience in biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the areas of tumor angiogenesis, obesity/diabetes, inflammation, and infectious diseases. She obtained a PhD in in Human Physiopathology.
