Biography

Dr. Shah, a distinguished public health physician and infectious diseases epidemiologist, has played a pivotal role in the fight against tuberculosis and other communicable diseases in Pakistan for over three decades. Currently serving as the Executive Director (E.D) of the non-profit organization Bridge Consultants Foundation (BCF), Dr. Shah leads a team of more than 200 dedicated staff, including public health professionals, doctors, nurses, paramedics, and field workers. The primary focus of BCF is to find missing TB cases, particularly among vulnerable populations such as male and female sex workers, transgender, and drug users, aiming to increase TB case notification rates.
