Dr. Suzanne Staples is a medical doctor and Chief Science Officer at THINK in South Africa. She has led global clinical trials and independent research in TB since 2012, with a focus on drug-resistant TB, comorbidities, and community-centered care. Holding a Master’s in Transdisciplinary Health and Development Studies, she integrates biomedical and social science approaches. At THINK, she leads the research and innovation portfolio, spanning clinical trials, health systems integration, and digital health. Her work prioritizes equitable, evidence-based solutions and explores how social and structural factors shape TB care and outcomes.
