She is the Head of the Organization in Department of Health, Chandigarh, India. She supervises all the work of the National TB Elimination Programme and makes all the policy decisions. The Programme has acheived many milestones under her. The 100 days TB Intesified Campaign was successfully completed under her leadership.
The study indicates that broadening the symptom complex for TB screening can significantly enhance TB case identification and testing for TB in the high-risk vulnerable groups. By doing so, healthcare providers could enhance the accuracy of identifying individuals at risk for TB, leading to earlier diagnosis and treatment. This approach underscores the importance of comprehensive screening protocols in effectively combating the disease and reducing transmission rates.
