Biography

Sudeshwar Kumar Singh, a TB Champion with 17 years in the development sector, has spent 12 years advocating for TB patients' rights. He leads TB Mukt Vahini (TMV), a community-led organization supporting 800 TB champions across 34 districts in Bihar. TMV has provided peer support to 44,800 TB patients and sensitized over 272,000 people on TB awareness and stigma reduction. A member of key platforms like India CCM (2023-25) and State TB Forum, Bihar, Sudeshwar focuses on psychosocial support, treatment adherence, and community empowerment.
