Can targeted mentorship enhance multi-drug-resistant TB detection in resource-limited settings like Malawi? A quasi-experimental evaluation

This targeted mentorship enhanced MDR/RR-TB case detection in intervention sites, supporting the necessity for scaling up and routine implementation. This approach provides lessons for implementing similar interventions in resource-limited settings to strengthen competence and improve MDR/RR-TB case detection. Further studies should explore the cost-effectiveness of mentorship to inform policy adoption.
