Biography

Sheng-Yu Huang is currently a Research Fellow at the National Reference Laboratory of Mycobacteriology, Taiwan CDC. She previously conducted virus-related research, including antiviral drug development, molecular diagnostics, and host-virus interaction studies. She joined the TB laboratory in early 2025, where her work focuses on the molecular surveillance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC), drug resistance monitoring, and the development of diagnostic platforms.
