Shalom Balogun is an early-career public health professional dedicated to health care strengthening through tuberculosis (TB) prevention and control. With hands-on experience in TB program implementation, research, and community engagement, she contributes to innovative strategies improving TB detection. She aims to strengthen Nigeria’s TB response and overall public health systems.

Coupling PDX (with CAD) and m-WRDs for C-ACF ensured no case was missed as clients were either diagnosed bacteriologically or clinically on the spot and initiated on treatment. Scale-up of PDX coupled with m-WRDs is key for targeted screening, diagnosis and treatment enrollment, ultimately increasing TB notification in Nigeria.
