Pairing artificial intelligence (AI) with WHO-recommended rapid molecular diagnostics (mWRDs) in community settings: Targeted screening and early diagnosis for improved tuberculosis (TB) notification

Coupling PDX (with CAD) and m-WRDs for C-ACF ensured no case was missed as clients were either diagnosed bacteriologically or clinically on the spot and initiated on treatment. Scale-up of PDX coupled with m-WRDs is key for targeted screening, diagnosis and treatment enrollment, ultimately increasing TB notification in Nigeria.
