Biography

Dr. Senia Rosales-Klintz is a clinical microbiologist with a PhD in Medical Sciences from Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), where her research focused on the rapid detection of drug resistance and the genetic characterization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. She has extensive experience in public health intervention, antibiotic resistance, and infection prevention. Since 2016, Senia joined the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) in Stockholm, Sweden, to work as a tuberculosis (TB) expert and focuses on implementing TB management and developing and strengthening public health policies in the European Union and European Economic Area (EU/EEA).
