Biography
Dr. Sarah Iribarren’s research program focuses on developing innovative patient-centered approaches to bridge gaps between patients and healthcare professionals to improve clinical outcomes. Her efforts have focused on TB and HIV prevention and treatment management within low- and middle-income settings and amongst disadvantaged populations. Dr. Iribarren is the Principal Investigator of NIH funded studies to develop and evaluate the TB-Treatment Support Tools mobile intervention by a randomized controlled trial. She is also a co-investigator on a PAHO funded study to understand the utilization of health services and the needs for sexual and reproductive health of migrant women in Ecuador.
