Biography

Dr. Samreen Ashraf Qureshi is the Additional Director at the Communicable Diseases Control (CDC) Program, Sindh, where she leads the tuberculosis (TB) component. A dedicated public health professional with extensive experience in infectious disease control, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment services across the province. Dr. Qureshi has been instrumental in advancing public-private mix models, integrating digital surveillance systems, and scaling up TB preventive treatment in high-burden settings. Her leadership continues to drive multisectoral collaboration and programmatic innovation to improve TB outcomes and align provincial efforts with national and global End TB targets.
