Key Impacts
Consideration of risks and consequences of TB and its prevention in cost-utility analyses among immigrants to low incidence countries: A systematic review
There is wide variation in how risks and consequences of both TPT and TB disease are considered in studies evaluating TB infection treatment programs. This lack of standardization in how risks and consequences are quantified, may be a significant contributor to the inconsistent conclusions surrounding the cost-effectiveness of immigrant TB infection treatment programs.
