Biography

Saminu is the Project Coordinator of the Global Fund GC7 Community PPM project and a Medical Advisor at The Leprosy Mission Nigeria (TLMN), a non-profit public health organization supporting TB and TB/HIV services. With 10+ years of public health experience, he specializes in health system strengthening, private sector engagement, and community-based TB care. He focuses on optimizing private practitioner involvement in TB care in Northern Nigeria. A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, his MPH thesis explored delays and health-seeking behavior among TB patients in Kaduna State, Nigeria.
