Biography

Sabine Hermans is an infectious diseases physician and epidemiologist. She serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Global Health, Amsterdam UMC, and is a Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD). With over a decade of experience living and working in various sub-Saharan African countries, her research focuses on HIV and tuberculosis co-infection, particularly recurrent tuberculosis, and optimizing healthcare delivery strategies in these regions.
