Biography

Prof. (Dr.) Rupak Singla, Professor and Former Head of the Department of TB & Respiratory Diseases at NITRD, New Delhi, has over 38 years of clinical experience in managing TB and respiratory diseases. A recognized national expert, he has contributed to key guidelines on TB, MDR/XDR-TB, HIV-TB, and respiratory care. He pioneered the “Difficult to Treat-TB Clinic” model and led the development of a government-approved mobile app for M/XDR-TB management. With over 35 years of teaching experience and more than 135 publications in national and international journals, he remains a leading figure in TB care, research, and policy in India.
