Biography

I have worked at LifeArc for 8 years, starting as an Assay Development Scientist and progressing to a Senior Scientist in Integrated Diagnostics. Previous to this, I attended the University of Glasgow, studying Plant Science. After 3 years working at Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA) in Plant Biosecurity and I spent 5 year in their Diagnostics and Molecular Biology department, working in molecular entomology before moving to LifeArc.

TB-MBLA: Design and development of TB molecular bacterial load assay, a monitoring tool for treatment response

Overall, testing showed the TB-MBLA to be very robust and was ready for clinical evaluation in the LifeArc sponsored TIME Study.
