Biography

Dr. Rommy Mom is a seasoned lawyer and human rights expert with over 30 years of experience, including more than 12 years in the health sector, advancing gender and human rights-based approaches. He holds a Bachelor’s and Advanced Degree in Law, a Master’s in Development Studies and a Doctorate degree in Sustainable development and Diplomacy. Dr. Mom has led national and regional TB rights initiatives, developed the LADOCT tool, and championed strategic litigation to challenge discriminatory laws. He leads Nigeria’s Legal and Human Rights Scorecard Assessment, promoting stigma-free, inclusive TB programming and transformative community-led health responses.
