Biography

Riitta Dlodlo has worked in clinical and programmatic tuberculosis (TB), TB-HIV and overall health services and project management for over 30 years. She is a strong proponent of person-centred, decentralised and integrated services for people with TB, including children and adolescents. She has served as faculty member and course lead in several Union courses, including international Principles of TB care and prevention: Translating knowledge to action course. She is senior technical advisor with The Union, serves as principal investigator of the U.S. CDC-Union Cooperative Agreement and completed recently her term of office as focal point in the Global Fund technical review panel.
