Biography

Dr. Rehana Begum is a public health expert with over 24 years of experience in global health. She holds an MBBS, a PG Diploma in ENT, an MBA in HR, and a certificate in Health Research Methodology from St. John’s Medical College and McMaster University. She leads the IMPACT India project at KHPT, supported by the Global Fund, focusing on TB elimination and community engagement. Dr. Begum has worked with WHO, UNICEF, and USAID-funded projects across Asia, Africa, and Canada. She also contributed to the Million Death Study, bringing deep expertise in RMNCH+A, HIV, TB, and health systems strengthening.
