Biography

I am a physician with fellowship training in HIV medicine and a master’s degree in applied Epidemiology. In my current role as a public health specialist on antiretroviral therapy with U.S Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I routinely use granular data for programming and represent CDC India on HIV treatment issues at technical, policy and strategic planning with Government of India, collaborators, and donor agencies. Taken together, these experiences directed my career towards strengthening the public health system to detect, prevent and respond to infectious diseases that impact public health in India.
