Biography
I am an early career public health professional from Nepal with a background in epidemiology. I am interested in infectious disease research and I have experience working in implementation research around tuberculosis active case finding and preventive therapy and using transmission modeling techniques to explore strategies for reducing the tuberculosis burden in Nepal.

Screening and treating household contact persons for both TB and LTBI can be successfully implemented in both rural and urban settings in a cost-effective manner and should be prioritized to reduce the TB burden in Nepal and similar high-burden countries.
