Biography

Dr Rachel Byrne is a implementation scientist and the diagnostic and pediatric lead of the Start4All consortium. Start4All is a four-year cross-disciplinary global research collaboration funded by Unitaid hosted by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine in partnership with Stop TB partnership. Start4All aims to develop and evaluate novel combinations of TB diagnostics in high burden settings within Bangladesh, Brazil, Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and Viet Nam deliverable at the point of care to improve linkage to treatment. Additionally, Rachel co-chairs the CAD access framework group with colleagues from Seoul National University to validate the development and evaluation process and improve access to AI software.
