Key Impacts
TB infections among rifampicin-resistant TB household contacts: A multi-central prospective cohort study (TCCT study)
RR-TB contact people had a high TB infection rate and developed ATB mostly within 3 months from index patient diagnosis. This study found TB infection risk factors for close contact people including male gender, low education level, abnormal chest CT, index patients with bilateral lung lesions and positive sputum smear, providing further preventive suggestions for RR-TB close contact people.

Post-TB chronic pulmonary aspergillosis: Phenotypic heterogeneity and independent predictors of adverse treatment outcomes
Post-TB CPA poses a significant threat to long-term respiratory health. Early identification of high-risk patients and ensuring at least 3 months of antifungal therapy may improve outcomes. These findings underscore the need for structured post-TB follow-up to improve health and well-being after TB cure.
