iDOTS demonstrated strong effectiveness and acceptability, aligning with human rights-based TB care by enhancing patient autonomy, privacy and dignity. However, sex disparities and limited phone recharge remained barriers. Sex-sensitive engagement strategies and recharge support should be incorporated to promote equitable and sustained TPT adherence.
