Biography

Mr. Prashant is the Behavioral Scientist at Johns Hopkins Centre for Infectious Diseases in India (CIDI) Pune. He has completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Anthropology from Pune University, and a Master in Population Sciences (M.P.S.) from the International Institute of Population Sciences (IIPS). He has been working in Health Policy Research and Community Based Research with various not-for-profit organizations. He has handled several research and intervention projects in the field of communicable diseases (Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Leprosy, and Malaria), sexuality, tribal health, and maternal and child health.
