Biography

Peize Zhang, MD, PhD, Director of Department of the Pulmonary Medicine and Tuberculosis, Shenzhen Third People's Hospital, China(mainland). She had trained and practiced as a physician at Sun Yat-Sen University. She and her team take care of more than 1500 patients with tuberculosis every year since 2010. She is now establishing a cohort of pulmonary tuberculosis and type-2 diabetes adults receiving different course treatment, in order to investigate the optimal course for drug susceptible TB patients with T2DM. She also focuses her efforts on preventive treatment of children with TB infection.
