Biography

I hold a PhD in Life Sciences (2017) from the University of Antananarivo. Thereafter, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the WEHI institute in Australia (2018–2019), on immunology and multi-omics, My work has contributed to the evaluation of host protein and transcriptomic biosignatures predictive of TB activity and treatment response. My current research interests is about the assessment of innovative immunological and molecular technologies to improve tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics, treatment monitoring particularly in vulnerable populations. Currently, I am involved in a multicentric clinical trial on new TB vaccine. I am involved in mentoring graduate students and laboratory staff.

Assessing blood-based TB transcriptomic gene signatures in pregnant women with bacteriologically confirmed and non-confirmed TB

While the two TB-gene signature showed slight difference between pregnant women with active and non confirmed pulmonary TB. The two gene signatures did not met the WHO Target product profile for screening tests for TB in our population.
