Biography

Dr. Hall-Eidson leads the TB and Advanced HIV Disease (AHD) Team in the International Laboratory Branch, Division of Global HIV & TB at US CDC, manages the Atlanta WHO Supranational TB Reference Laboratory, and serves as the Stop TB Partnership Global Laboratory Initiative Vice Chair and Chairperson of the WHO TB Technical Advisory Group on Diagnostics and Laboratory Strengthening. Patricia applies >20 years of research and project management experience to (i) oversee capacity building activities for tuberculosis and AHD testing systems across >20 CDC partner countries, and (ii) oversee development of practical programs/tools for improving patient access to testing services in high/moderate disease burden settings.
